This project was one of the few kitchen remodel projects that we have done. We know how and we can put together a great kitchen but typically our kitchen and bathroom remodel work are always part of a larger project. This project included removing cabinets for re-installation, cutting down the bar wall and re-framing the wall so that new marble countertops could be installed and so that the kitchen peninsula was at one level. One of the family members had become disabled and could not utilize the tall countertop. We also added cabinet storage to the backside (opposite of the peninsula wall from the dishwasher) for additional storage. Additionally the existing sink cabinet had to be rebuilt as it was rotted away from leakage. And the owner did not want replace all the existing cabinets. Easy fix. We also added in a tile backsplash and carried that backsplash up to behind the microwave.
